BPO business not intermediary

P&H High Court in the case of Genpact India & Others decided on the question whether BPO are ‘intermediaries’ or not.

The Hon’ble High Court, based on the plethora of precedents cited by the counsels, held that impugned orders passed by the Adjudicating Authority/Appellate Authority, are cryptic and non-speaking and the reasons assigned for holding the petitioners to be intermediaries, do not sustain as they do not pass the test of law.
