In consequence of the 47th GST Council held at Chandigarh, draft GSTR-3B has been released in the public domain to invite public views/comments/suggestions latest by 15th September 2022.
Major changes proposed in new Form GSTR-3B:
·Auto Population of values from GSTR-1 into GSTR-3B in specific rows.
·Provision of amendment in GSTR-3B through amendment tables.
·Allowing negative values in GSTR-3B & carrying forward the negative values from the previous tax period.
·Specific rows for various reversals and subsequent claims of temporary reversals.
Other states and centers are also expected to follow suit.
