“GST Trade Circular by Maharashtra GST for inviting public comments on changes in Form GSTR-3B”

In consequence of the 47th GST Council held at Chandigarh, draft GSTR-3B has been released in the public domain to invite public views/comments/suggestions latest by 15th September 2022.

Major changes proposed in new Form GSTR-3B:

• ·Auto Population of values from GSTR-1 into GSTR-3B in specific rows.

• ·Provision of amendment in GSTR-3B through amendment tables.

• ·Allowing negative values in GSTR-3B & carrying forward the negative values from the previous tax period.

• ·Specific rows for various reversals and subsequent claims of temporary reversals.

Other states and centers are also expected to follow suit.
