Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide Notification No. 30/2015-20 dated 1st Sep 2020 withdraws MEIS Scheme w.e.f. 1st Jan 2021.
Ceiling of Rs 2 crore prescribed on MEIS benefits on exports made from 01st Sep 2020 to 31st Dec 2020 (subject to further downward revision by government)
Following IEC holders would not be eligible for submitting any claim under MEIS scheme:
IEC holder who has not made any exports for a period of 1 year preceding 01st Sep 2020; and
IEC holder who has obtained new IEC on or after 1st September 2020.
