Personal hearings through virtual mode under Customs Act

CBIC has decided that personal hearing, in respect of any proceeding under Customs Act 1962, given by various authorities, such as Commissioner (Appeals), original adjudicating authorities and Compounding authority, may be conducted through video conferencing facility.

Detailed guidelines have been issued in Instruction dated 27th April 2020.
